Fields Of Gold Festival is a 2 day music festival that celebrates your most loved music recreated by some of the UK’s best tribute bands.
The issues encountered in 2019 have been taken on board and used to significantly improve the festival to make the customer experience the best it can possibly be for 2020, including:
Fields Of Gold Festival (FOGF) are now in partnership with The Bar Co Ltd who will provide and operate all bars at FOGF 2020. The Bar Co Ltd have over 20 years experience in supplying and running bars at major events and festivals including: Neighbourhood Weekender, Manchester Pride Festival and many more!.
FOGF 2020 will see twice as many bars and bar staff, serving a wider variety of alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages, twice as many food outlets offering a much wider choice and variety, to include vegetarian and vegan options. The festival will also have significantly more toilets than 2019!!
This year vapes will be allowed on site and also small bottles of perfume/aftershave as long as they do not exceed 100ml.
Add to this an improved line up and FOGF 2020 is not to be missed!!
Friday 4th September 2020 – Gates open at 5pm with live music starting from 6pm and finishing at 10:30 pm.
Saturday 5th September 2020 – Gates open at 12pm with live music starting from 1pm and finishing at 10:30pm.
Yes! Fields Of Gold Festival is an 18+ event.
(Fields Of Gold Festival 2020 will operate a challenge 25 system upon entry to the festival site).
No Food or Drink will be permitted onto the festival site. ( please click here for full conditions of entry)
There will be a wide variety of food along with a large choice of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks on offer at fields of gold festival.
Yes! Fields Of Gold Festival will have a limited number of car parking spaces. Set your sat nav to OL7 0FU and follow signs for “car park” on your approach to the event. For more travel information please click here to visit our “ how to find us page”

You can leave the Fields Of Gold Festival site at any time during the day, however you will not be allowed to re-enter the festival site once you have left.
Last year in collaboration with Tameside Licensing officers it was agreed to impose a last entry time of 4pm. However we have taken on board issues caused and this year on Friday night there will be no last entry time and on Saturday we have agreed to put back the last entry time to 6pm.
Fields Of Gold Festival welcomes everybody to Ashton Cricket Club. All access routes are disabled / wheelchair accessible and there is also a shorter “disabled access route” to aid people who require a shorter route to the arena. Yes! You can bring a camping style chair to the festival, however they will not be permitted within 30 meters of the main stage for health and safety reasons.
Yes! You can bring a small umbrella to the festival, however large umbrellas / golf style umbrellas will not be permitted. (please click here for full conditions of entry)
Yes! Our festival site is predominantly grass so please wear suitable footwear to the festival and be sure to keep your eye on the weather
Small bags will be permitted into the festival. Please note that they will be fully searched upon entry, and anything found that is prohibited will not be allowed on site and may be confiscated. You may be refused entry if trying to bring prohibited items into the festival site.

YES! All outlets will accept card payments in 2020!
Fields Of Gold Festival tickets will be on sale on the day of the event if tickets remain. However, due to licencing constraints, there will be no tickets available to buy on the gate and all available ticket sales will be online only.
No, all animals are prohibited from the Fields Of Gold Festival Site. Exceptions will be made for the use of guide dogs.
Typical items you cannot bring onto site are food, drink, and glass objects (except for vapes and perfume/aftershave, in bottles not greater than 100ml).
No. There will be no camping facilities at Fields Of Gold Festival. Please click here to visit our “Where to Stay “page.
There are hotels within walking distance of the festival site and several nearby which are either on bus routes or close enough to travel to the site by taxi. All tickets and ad-ons purchased from the Fields Of Gold Festival website, and/or any of our accredited ticket partners, cannot be exchanged or refunded once purchased unless the event is cancelled.
The organisers cannot be held liable for any tickets lost, damaged or stolen. Damaged, altered or defaced tickets may be invalidated.
Tickets are purchased for the event ‘Fields Of Gold Festival’ and not for a specific artist, band, performer or act. Schedules and line-ups are subject to cancellation or change.
The organisers cannot be held responsible for the non-appearance of artists through no fault of their own.
If the event is postponed the management will honour the ticket for the re-scheduled performance and it is the responsibility of the ticket holder to make arrangements for the re-scheduled time/date.
If the event is cancelled the organisers will refund the full ticket price but not including any out of pocket expenses.
Tickets are not transferable and may not be offered for sale without the prior written permission of the organisers. Any tickets that are transferred are transferred subject to these conditions of entry. Any tickets offered for sale may be confiscated by authorised personnel.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the grounds, or to eject from the grounds, any person who has transferred his/her ticket, and/or the original holder of the ticket in contravention of the relevant ticket terms and conditions.
Tickets remain the property of the organisers at all times.
“grounds” means locations owned, occupied, utilised or controlled, or the surrounding areas or other property owned or controlled by gm events ltd
“organisers” means GM PROMOTIONS LTD.
“event” means Fields Of Gold Festival related to it.
“material” means any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data.
“authorised personnel” means any steward, volunteer, police officer or other person authorised by GM PROMOTIONS LTD.
